From January 25th to March 1st, 2014, seven NHL franchises will play in a string of outdoor games called the Stadium Series. As is always the case when the league showcases its talent out on the pond, special jerseys will be worn by the participating clubs. Each club will sport a chrome jersey specifically tailored for the event. Cool Hockey dot com shared a sneak peak of the seven logos, done up with a chrome tinge. They look good.

The Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings kick-off the Stadium Series on January 25th at Dodger Stadium. The next day, the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils play outdoor puck at Yankee Stadium. The Rangers – the only team in the series to play twice – meet rivals the New York Islanders on the 29th, once again at Yankee Stadium. And, to cap off the series, the Pittsburgh Penguins visit Soldier Field for a potential Stanley Cup final preview against the Chicago Blackhawks.
