While a hazing scandal rocks the National Football League, Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin keeps rookie bullying safe (but not clean) by nailing first year teammate Tom Wilson in the the face with a pie. The incident occurred after Wilson scored his first NHL goal in a 6-2 destroying of the New York Islanders.
The goal may be Wilson’s first, however, he’s already made an impact in the NHL. The Caps bruiser was front and centre in the Emery/Holtby melee last Friday. It was Wilson who went directly after Wayne Simmonds in response to the Flyers’ high hit off the face-off. You can watch him throw knuckles with Simmonds here.
